Call for artists/participants
I’m looking for small portable pieces of artwork – things like decorated tags, stickers, lightweight 3D objects, atc size with hole or sticky back, artwork up to letter paper size but prefer well under half that size. If you want to contribute something a bit larger or heavier email me anyway and I can possibly do a special installation.
Theme is faith. What is your faith? Do you have faith? Have you lost your faith? What do you believe in? Are you a nonbeliever? Images of religious iconography, sacred places, holy relics, etc. All denominations/faiths and nonbelievers welcome.
Work will be placed in urban and rural spaces and documented. This will probably be done over a course of time and over many locations. Artwork will be left outside so will not be returned. If you choose to laminate or otherwise strengthen your piece be sure that it is lightweight as I will be travelling on foot. Work will be posted here and all participants will receive documentation in the mail. I will be taking photos of pieces installed – not necessarily detailed shots - so would ask that you send me a jpeg before mailing so that the detail of your piece really can be seen online. Email to sign up and to receive updates. Addresses for mail drops will come later on.
